Stay For Ever Young Advice

Hair Loss

Baldness or hair loss is usually something only adults need to worry about. But in a few cases, teens lose their hair, too, and it may be a sign that something’s going on. Losing hair can be stressful during a time when you’re already concerned about appearance. Most of the time, hair loss during the teen years is temporary. With temporary hair loss, the hair usually grows back after the problem that causes it is corrected. Among the major causes of hair loss are: stress, drugs, skin disorders, testosterone, menopause, iron deficiency, genetics and aging.

Studies have found several ways to prevent the occurrence of hair loss, making both men and women look younger. These include:

  • Live healthy
Living healthy, eating properly and sleeping right with good exercise will do more than just leaving you with a full head of hair for a longer time; you will feel better and look younger.
  • Medicines and some products
Things like zinc, pro-vitamin B5, saw palmetto and ginkgo biloba are increasingly used in quality men’s products to keep hair young and healthy. Men can use these to at least slow down baldness if they are genetically prone.
  • Massage
Massaging your scalp can be one of the best ways to avoid hair loss and should be part of your normal shampoo regime. Massaging increases blood flow which is important for strong and healthy hair growth.
  • General care
Hair dryers, very hot water, hair bleaches, dyes, minimizing styling products, wearing a hat in the sun and washing your head daily will have a great impact.

Why wait until it is too late? Everything that matters to your health should be taken pro-actively so you can be saved from having hair replacement therapy later.
